A ravishing palace located at Kanadukathan is well-known as "RAJA PALACE" for the world tourism. This Palace is the prime tourist spot of Kanadukathan. The Palace was built by Dr. Raja Sir Annamalai Chettiar.

It took about two years to complete building this palace. The palace was built with Chettinad culture. Like the other Chettinad houses, the palace also has thinnai, Mugappu, Aalveedu, vallavu, aduppadi. The palace was completed in 1915. Many antiques used by the Raja are preserved in the palace now also. The most elegant view of the palace is the photograph of the Raja which is placed between two huge Elephant tusks.

The huge palace has got four streets on its four sides. It lies in the heart of the village. The palace stands tall covering about 1900 sq.ft including 9 car sheds and a lift. The pillars made of teak wood, doors with minute handworks of the palace are the best examples to show the art and cultural interest of this people.
